Zach Adams

Zach Adams

Zach Adams iis a junior economics major and business minor from Georgetown, Texas. He is a member of the economics and commercial real estate clubs on campus. Zach is also the Vice President of Recruitment for the Eta Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Zach’s TCU experience has been wonderful due to the support of the faculty, staff, and student body that make TCU such a great university.

Mathhew Brown

Mathhew Brown

Matthew Brown is a senior political science and economics double major and Chinese studies minor from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and is an active member in the Eta Eta Chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Matt is involved with his local church, Chancellor’s Leadership Program, Exodus Retreat, and Model United Nations. Matt also interns at a local non-profit where he works with their homeless and refugee programs. He enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling to new places. Upon graduation from TCU, Matt plans to get a job and begin his career before pursuing higher education.

Becca Curran

Becca Curran

Becca Curran is a sophomore psychology major and a child-development and human-animal relationships double minor from Draper, Utah. Becca is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and is a Chancellor’s Scholar. She is also a member of Student Foundation, Gamma Phi Beta, and is a manager for the TCU Women's Basketball team. She hopes to attend graduate school to earn her Master's in psychology to become a child therapist.

Dorian Dhamo

Dorian Dhamo

Dorian Dhamo is a junior, transfer student computer science major and political science minor from Fier, Albania. He is passionate about politics, entrepreneurship, and volunteerism. He is an active member of the Student Experience Committee and also involved with the Transfer Center. Dorian’s passion for making TCU a better place by bringing new ideas to its community is what motivates him. Dorian speaks four languages Albanian, English, Italian, and Spanish.

Giselle Flores

Giselle Flores

Giselle Flores is a sophomore majoring in political science with an emphasis in international relations, and a sociology and CRES emphasis minor from Fort Worth. She lives at home and commutes to school. She serves as a facilitator for both the Rising Leaders Institute and Frogs First. Giselle is also a member of Lead NOW (Network of Women) at TCU and plans to join other organizations of interest such as ULA and The Food Recovery Network. Giselle hopes to one day make a positive impact in the world in different ways. One of her interests includes a love for art.

Robert Gatabazi

Robert Gatabazi

Robert Gatabazi is a sophomore pre-business major originally from Nairobi, Kenya and moved to Texas in 2014. Robert is a class of 2022 Community Scholar, vice polemarch (vice president) of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the vice president of the African Students Association. He is also very involved in the Black Students Association and is mentor for the ‘My Brothers’ Keeper’ program at Paschal High School. He speaks three languages Swahili, French, and English.

Tyler Grijalva is a sophomore political science major from El Paso, Texas. He is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and is a Chancellor’s Scholar. Tyler is a Frog Camp Facilitator and Peer Guide for the Intro to University Life course on campus. Tyler is passionate about helping students from underrepresented populations achieve in higher education. Upon graduation, he plans to attend law school.

Michael Jasper

Michael Jasper is a junior business information systems and supply chain management double major from San Diego, California. He is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and a Dean’s Scholar. He is an active member of the Texas Gamma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. In his free time, Michael loves to play basketball and sand volleyball. Upon graduation, he plans to return to Southern California.

Emma Joy

Emma Joy

Emma Joy is a sophomore nursing major and psychology minor from Southlake, Texas. Emma is the Associate Panhellenic Delegate for the Lambda Rho Chapter of Alpha Omicron Pi. She is also an active member of the Student Nursing Association and frequently volunteers with Kinderfrogs. Her dream is to graduate from TCU and pass her NCLEX so that she can carry out her passion of caring for others every day.

Cosmas Rutto

Cosmas Rutto is a senior biology major and healthcare minor from Eldoret, Kenya. He is a member of the International Student Association and African Students Organization. He is a student-athlete on the track and field team. His dream has always been to study abroad and now he is at TCU. Coming from a developing country has given him a challenge to work hard and to represent his society. Cosmas has a passion about service and plans to pursue a career in the medical field to help him best serve the community and help people in his home country. Cosmas speaks four languages Kalenjin, Swahili, English, and Spanish.

Kimberly Sancen is a sophomore child-development major from Fort Worth. She made the Dean's Honors List her freshman year. Her goal is to work with children at a children's hospital upon graduation for the opportunity to improve children's lives through her work. Delight College Ministries has been one of her favorite things she has been in at TCU.

Hank Showalter is a sophomore child-development and graphic design double major from Boise, Idaho. He enjoys creating logos, camping, and hiking and is looking forward to another great year at TCU. GO FROGS!

Ali Smith

Ali Smith

Ali Smith is a senior early childhood education major with an emphasis in ESL from Richardson, Texas. She is a member of the Gamma Psi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta where she is on the t-shirt committee. Ali is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the International Honor Society in Education. She currently serves as the chapter's vice president, and is excited to expand the chapter at TCU this year. In the summer of 2019, Ali will begin TCU's Accelerated Master's Program where she will study Language and Literacy.

Palmer Smyth

Palmer Smyth

Palmer Smyth is a freshman pre-med biology major from Charleston, South Carolina. He is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and TCU’s pre-med program, Alpha Epsilon Delta. He plans on joining the club tennis team, club swim team, and student mobilization. In his free time, Palmer enjoys playing basketball and exercising at the university recreation center. Upon graduation, Palmer plans to attend medical school to further his studies in medicine.

Akhmed Tagaev

Akhmed Tagaev

Akhmed Tagaev is a senior international student with finance and entrepreneurship majors from Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Akhmed arrived at TCU as a student of the Intensive English Program and upon completion, he was accepted to TCU. He is a member of Delta Sigma Pi business fraternity, Financial Management Association, and Global Youth Initiative at TCU. Akhmed’s main objective is to successfully graduate from Neeley School of Business which he believes will help him to get a qualified business education and grow as an individual. Akhmed speaks four languages, including English, Russian, Uzbek and Tatar.

Kayla Thomas is a freshman biology major and Spanish for healthcare professions minor from Fort Worth. She is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and is one of the inaugural STEM Scholars. She is a dancer and a certified pharmacy technician. One day she hopes to make an impact in people’s lives through medicine holistically.

Zane Watanabe is a sophomore pre-business major from Omaha, Nebraska. He is in the John V. Roach Honors College and is an active member of the Texas Gamma Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Zane is also involved in the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program, Student Foundation, Chancellor's Host, serves as the treasurer for the TCU Horned Tones and is also a Frog Camp Facilitator. Zane's TCU experience has been very memorable largely due to the support of the faculty, staff, and student body that make TCU such a great university.

Kendall Wulbrun is a senior sociology and communications double major and Spanish minor from Stanford, California. She is a member of the John V. Roach Honors College and a Chancellor’s Scholars. Kendall serves on the director board of the Chancellor’s Leadership Program and is a member of Student Foundation. Upon graduation, Kendall plans to attend graduate school to pursue a master’s degree in higher education policy, organization, and leadership studies and ultimately work in college admissions.
